Kainen

Kainen is a fun, feisty 7 year old boy who loves his pet dragons, working on arts and science projects, and riding his trains. Kainen suffers from two rare diseases: Ehlers Danlos syndrome with vascular and GI crossover, food protein induced enteroccolitis syndrome (FPIES), cardiac issues and many other diagnoses. He’s currently having progressive loss of muscle function so the docs are working hard to determine the cause at the moment. Kainen also wears hinged AFO braces daily, is fed by J-tube and uses a manual wheelchair as needed. Despite all these he doesn’t let his issues or severe chronic pain stop him from enjoying life as much as he can with a smile for everyone and a positive attitude. Kai is excitedly looking forward to his Disney Cruise!
